[NEWS] 34th & 35th Cyworld DMA

The 34th and 35th CyWorld Digital Music Awards (DMA) took place on 10th June in Seoul.

And newcomer 2NE1 is one of the big winners of the night.

For the 34th DMA (April 2009)

* Song of the Month – CM song ‘Lollipop’ sung by Big Bang and 2NE1
* Rookie of the Month – After School
* Artiste award – Epik High with ‘Map the Soul’
35th DMA (May 2009)

* Song of the month – 2NE1 with ‘Fire’
* Rookie of the month – 2NE1
* Artiste Award – Park Ji Yoon with the song ‘In my fading memories’

It was a pity that Big Bang cannot be present at the awards ceremony as they are currently promoting in Japan. They had given thanks for the awards through an interview video at the awards ceremony.

[NEWS] Big Bang is so energetic that they continue working in both Korea and Japan

Popular group Bigbang is spending their busy days showing off their physical strength/fitness.

On the 4th Bigbang came back to Korea for a music video shoot and went back to Japan on the 8th. On this day, they had a radio and TV program interview scheduled so they jumped on the plane to Japan with no rest in between.

Bigbang is coming back to Korea on the 11th to shoot the CF for one of the products they are modeling for. After this shoot is finished then they are planning on going back to Japan again to focus on their overseas promotions.

Bigbang ended their activities in Korea early this year after their concert, and has recently started their activities in Japan. Bigbang had signed a contract with Universal Music Japan and stayed in Japan since the end of May to capture the attention of the Japan major music field. However, they still have some CF shoots booked back in Korea so they're in a situation that they have to go back and forth between Korea and Japan for thier schedules.

On the coming 24th Bigbang is releasing their single 'My Heaven'.

[NEWS] tae yang's new solo album will be a full album!

According to Naver, Taeyang's album will be a full album (not a mini) and is scheduled to be released in either August or September. It will be produced by YG Entertainment's rising producer and 1Tym Member Teddy. Currently, Teddy is busy working on 2NE1's album but he'll immediately shift his full focus over to Taeyang once the work on 2NE1's album is complete.

Taeyang enjoyed much success during his solo release last summer. And I believe he'll find even more success again this time around. No word on G-Dragon's solo album, but it looks like it's been pushed to the back burner for now

Idol concerts¡¯ seats sell out in a mere matter of minutes. Also, fans that live in the countryside or overseas can rarely make it to the concert. NFX Media (a 3-Dimensional video producing company)¡¯s Park Chan Soo (47) Director said, ¡°This August, the first appearance of a 3D concert movie will release these kinds of frustrations.¡±

¡°Seo Tae Ji and Big Bang, etc., shot their concerts recently in 3-dimensional film. Out of these two, Big Bang is set to have a movie preview at the movie theater with the concert, additional member interviews, and a documentary about the process of promoting included. Poses like G-Dragon holding his hand out to the fans will be vivid as if one could grab it. This project¡¯s model is last year¡¯s 3-dimensional concert movie which garnered popularity in the USA, ¡®Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus.¡¯ The actual scene of high-teen singer Miley Cyrus¡¯ world tour concert was captured through 3-dimensional film.

Director Park stated, ¡°It seems that making Hallyu (Korean Wave) stars¡¯ performances into 3D concert movies can be a new lucrative business.¡±

[NEWS] Tears fell as Super Junior DongHae talks about late father

Tears fell as Super Junior member DongHae talks about late father who had fought the cancer disease for 3 years. Super Junior was on KBS morning show ‘YeoYooManMan’ where the members talked about their parents.

Especially for member DongHae, he had teared while talking about his late father who had fought the cancer disease for 3 years. He said tearing,”My father loves to sing the song ‘DongJi’ and coincidentally I had to sing the song with seonbae singer Nam Jin, but the I could not continue singing the song on the stage because I kept thinking about my father.”

Other members also talked about their parents. YeSung teared while talking about how his mother had helped him when he was realising his dreams as a singer having to go to Seoul from his hometown CheonAn everyday.

Chinese member HanKyung said, “The money that I made from activities, I would send them to my parents in China. And now their dumpling shop is going very well that they are opening the 2nd branch store.”

Meanwhile this episode of the show will air on 10th June at 9.30am
